The HP ElitePad 1000 looks an awful lot like a first-generation iPad. Its 10.3 x 7 x 0.36 inches dimensions are a tad thinner than Apple's first tablet, but the black rectangle with silver edging is very reminiscent of the slate that started the craze.

The HP ElitePad 1000 G2 is a Windows tablet for business with solid performance and battery life, but the heavy reliance on accessories may hinder more than it helps.

The LG Gram 15 is equipped with one USB-C port, along with more standard features like two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output and an Ethernet port. Instead of a full-size SD memory card slot, like those you would find on other laptops, LG opted to put a microSD card slot on the Gram 15.

While this does let you use the microSD card from your phone or tablet on the laptop without needing an adapter, it also means you won't be able to use standard SD card sizes, like those used in most cameras. There is no adapter that will make a full-size card work with a microSD card slot.
