I am using this vinyl flooring for almost a year... So far no complain. Should be better to install tiles. Probably cheaper because when u include the self level flooring chemical to level the floor, it is pretty expensive.

Same cost at putting tiles. Depends on what tiles quality u put. On scratch, it is quite scratch resistance for normal residential use. But of u move furniture a lot, might scratch if deep cut.

will be using Vinyl Flooring for my kitchen. pros: water proof, no need to hack existing layer of tiles cons: its slightly thinner than laminated pieces so there may be a bit of unevenness in between my kitchen and dining area.
