Following the voluntary recall issued in Singapore by Volkswagen for 6,181 cars due to a DSG related problem, Volkswagen Group Malaysia has said it is also carrying out a similar exercise on a number of cars here, those equipped with a seven speed dry clutch Direct Shift Gearbox, to rectify issues identified with the transmission. These are units produced between June 2010 and June 2011, with affected vehicles being Golf, Polo, Scirocco, Cross Touran, Passat and Jetta models equipped with the transmission.

The Audi A3 1.8TFSI Quattro gets the 1.8liter engine you see in the larger A4 but gets All Wheel Drive. 1.8liter four cylinder with 180bhp and 280Nm torque.
